2025 Top of the Table charity partner: Hands Across the Water

MDRT Foundation is proud to partner with Peter Baines and his charity, Hands Across the Water, as the official charity partner for this year’s Top of the Table meeting.

Peter Baines is widely recognized for his extraordinary contributions to emergency response and humanitarian work. A former forensic investigator with the New South Wales Police Force, Baines led international teams in the aftermath of major disasters, including the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami in Thailand. His experiences on the ground inspired him to take action beyond the immediate crisis.

In 2005, Baines founded Hands Across the Water, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and communities in Thailand. The organization provides safe housing, education, and pathways to a better future for hundreds of children.

Top of the Table attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about Peter’s journey, the mission of Hands Across the Water, and how they can contribute to creating lasting change.
