U.S.-Based Grants Guarantee 1000 Local Needy Children Will develop and Expand Language Skills

Learning the English language will be much easier for the 250 students of the Fidai Girls Educational Institute, as well as an additional 750 boys and girls living in the poor neighborhoods surrounding the school, thanks to a $5,000 grant from the US-based Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals, Foundation. Dedication Ceremony to Unveil New Languarge Lab at Andheri-Based Fidai Girls' Educational Institute

The Fidai Girls’ Educational Institute in Andheri (West) Mumbai is opening a brand new language lab for 250 students, as well as 750 boys and girls (ages 6 to 16) living in the poor neighborhoods surrounding the school. The new lab will be unveiled at a gala inauguration fete on Sunday, 27th January, at the Fidai Institute. More than 100 people from the community are expected to attend the dedication ceremony and festivities. Read more...

Fall 2007 Phonathon Raises more than $400,000

On October 15-16, 25 MDRT members made hundreds of phone calls asking fellow MDRT members to support the grant programs of the MDRT Foundation during the Fall Phonathon. At the end of this fund-raising event, generous donors contributed more than $400,000 in pledges and $100,000 in-house. These funds will be used to support medical, educational, social service and advocacy programs worldwide.
