The center, located in Kharkiv, will provide cancer screenings, family planning and prenatal care to 80,000 women during its first year of operation. The MDRT Foundation awarded Carelift a Worldwide grant in 2004 for $2,500 USD to expand the breast cancer screening program at the center. The grant was sponsored by Jack S. Dignitaries in attendance at the opening of the Women's Wellness Center included Lyudmyla Kuchma, the first lady of Ukraine; Georgy Kirpa, Ukrainian minister of transportation; and John E.
