Top Quality of Life Awards Announced

During the 2007 MDRT Annual Meeting

During the 2007 MDRT Annual Meeting in Denver Colorado, the top six Quality of Life Awards were announced. The Quality of Life Award program recognizes the exceptional volunteerism of MDRT members, and grants are presented to the charities that members are involved with.

MDRT Foundation President Mark S. Jones presented the top Quality of Life Award to Jerry Sletten, a 17-year MDRT member and Gold Knight from Rockford, Illinois, in honor of his many years of building playgrounds for underserved children throughout the world with the nonprofit organization Kids Around the World (KIDS). The MDRT Foundation will award a $25,000 Quality of Life grant to KIDS in honor of Sletten’s outstanding volunteerism.

The MDRT Foundation applauds the compassion of each of Quality of Life Award winners whose selfless efforts are a tribute to the mission of the MDRT Foundation.
