Grant Programs
The MDRT Foundation grant programs are a unique benefit of MDRT membership that enable members around the world to support causes they care about in a powerful way. The grant programs of the MDRT Foundation, like all aspects of MDRT, are member-driven. Members decide where funds are distributed by sponsoring grants for charitable organizations of interest to them. Sponsoring a grant allows members to pool their resources and turn individual gifts into something more significant. Members also control how much funding is available for grants through their own levels of personal support. In fact, thanks to the Million Dollar Promise Appeal, the MDRT Foundation has granted more than $1 million annually for the past three years. The MDRT Foundation's goal is to keep that record-setting pace for years to come. Application Review Process Grant applications for grants are accepted anytime before the annual September 1 deadline. All grant applications are initially reviewed by MDRT Foundation staff. Grant requests meeting the stated criteria are submitted to the MDRT Foundation Grants Committee for review, classification and deliberation. The committee then forwards its recommendations to the MDRT Foundation Board of Trustees, which makes final award decisions. The MDRT Foundation Grants Committee meets once each year to review grant applications and make recommendations. Please submit your grant request mindful of the time constraints involved with a September 1 deadline. All applications, including required attachments, must be received on or before that date. Incomplete applications, or applications received after the deadline, will be denied. All applicants must review MDRT Foundation grant application guidelines and eligibility requirements before downloading an application. Quality
