Global Gift Fund™ The MDRT Foundation has established a new service, Global Gift Fund™ , as a vehicle for charitable giving. This service introduces the opportunity to create your own individual family foundation, from which you can support your favorite charities for generations to come. The MDRT Foundation developed the concept for the Global Gift Fund as a charitable planning tool for MDRT members and their clients to fulfill their charitable goals. Administered under the tax umbrella of the MDRT Foundation, participants get the long-term legacy, without the administration or legal hassles. The Foundation recognizes the special relationship that MDRT members have with their clients. The term DonorAdvisor™ was developed for the Global Gift Fund to define those professionals who are committed to providing an informational and educational philanthropic service for their clients through the MDRT Foundation. Through this program, DonorAdvisors and their clients can make a current contribution, obtain an immediate tax deduction, and benefit charitable organizations recommended by the donor, worldwide, for generations to come. Giving through the Global Gift Fund is consistent with wise tax planning and wise charitable giving. Anyone can create a charitable fund with an irrevocable contribution. Donors may include the following:
The minimum contributions for donors is as follows:

Grants may not be made to an individual, private foundation or be used to fulfill a pledge, support political causes or lobbying.
